What is IBM Watson?

IBM Watson is currently one of the most famous examples of artificial intelligence. It uses machine learning and natural language processing to make decisions and interact with others in a humanlike way. This supercomputer is most well known for winning Jeopardy against human contestants, Ken Jennings and Brad Rutter. Watson was initially created to be a question-answer machine, but now has applications as a chatbot in medical use cases. The bot is named after IBM founder and industrialist, Thomas J. Watson.
