MicroMasters programs are designed to offer learners a pathway to an advanced degree and can count as credit toward completing a Master’s degree program. Learners who successfully earn this MicroMasters program certificate may apply for admission to a Master’s program, and if accepted, the MicroMasters program certificate will count towards the degree.Completion of all 6 courses in the Innovation & Entrepreneurship MicroMasters program represents the completion of ONE of the following courses at the Instituto Tecnológico de Monterrey:
1. EM4001 Innovation and Future Thinking
2. EM4002 Entrepreneurial MindsetBoth of these lead into the Master's in Business Administration. In order to receive the recognition of the credential, the student has to be enrolled in EGADE Business School.
Each on-campus course contributes 5% to the entire Master's trajectory.
Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT) also offers a pathway to credit toward RIT's Master of Science in Professional Studies. If accepted into the program at RIT, students will be eligible for up to 9 credits which will serve toward one concentration required for this interdisciplinary degree. The MS in Professional Studies– which can be completed online or in-person – is a customized, flexible program that meets industry demand by enabling students to strategically combine multiple, complementary fields of study to reflect their unique career and educational goals.

- Earning a Micromasters Program certificate does not guarantee admission to a full master’s degree. If you apply and are accepted into the face-to-face program associated with the MicroMasters program, the certificate will count towards obtaining the full degree. To successfully obtain a Micromasters Program Certificate, yo must complete all courses, exams, projects (with passing grades determined by each university) and obtain the Verified Certificate for each course.
- Obtaining a Micromasters Program certificate will give you the tools to stand out in the industry and area the program is known for. but this does not guarantee a job interview or a job. However, you can share your certificate on your LinkedIn page and on your resume to demonstrate your achievements and highlight the knowledge acquired.
- All the courses that make up this Micromasters Program can be taken individually. The registration and payment process, if the Verified Certificate is desired, is the same as in a normal course.
- This will depend on the organization and planning of your time. The MicroMasters program is designed to complete in 26 weeks, however, some participants take longer than the estimated time.
